Royal Docks Superyacht Berthing 2012
1 July 2011Marina Projects has signed an agreement to work in conjunction with the Royal Docks Management Authority (RoDMA) to deliver and operate an exclusive Superyacht Berthing facility in London which will be operational through July and August 2012. The project will be delivered through 'Royal Docks 2012' which has been created as a marketing and management interface by RoDMA.
The historic Royal Docks offer the largest enclosed berthing area in London and in due course will be developed to provide permanent year round berthing facilities for larger vessels. The Royal Docks provide immediate connections to London City Airport and The Excel Centre and has direct access to the River Thames. The Excel centre is renowned as the location of the London International Boat Show and has been selected as one of the main Olympic venues.
Superyacht berthing is very limited in the London area and the Royal Docks enjoy a prime location, within a short distance of the centre of London and in close proximity to the Olympic Park and the cities other sporting venues.
During July and August 2012 the onshore facilities will include:
- Concierge Services
- 24 hour Security
- VIP Lounge
- VIP Parking
- Crew Facilities
