Marina scoping proposal for Rochester Riverside, UK

The South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) appointed Marina Projects as the specialist marina consultant to report on the viability of introducing a marina as part of the wider Rochester Riverside regeneration project. The scope of work included a review of the opportunities to introduce tall ship and sail training activity to the site.

The study programme required a high-level review of the local and wider market, detailed assessment of the constraints to development (eg. physical, environmental), site access issues, and an assessment of the supporting infrastructure requirements.

An operational and business plan was prepared which provided guidance on the management and operational arrangements, forecast financial performance of the marina and opportunities for delivering ancillary income opportunities to support the marina business.
