Project management of River Hamble Harbour Master’s jetty, UK
Marina Projects has been appointed by Hampshire County Council to design, specify and project manage the delivery of a replacement pontoon berthing facility to serve the River Hamble Harbour Master.
The existing facility is at the end of its useful life and a bespoke design is required to update the aged facilities and provide berthing for a range of visiting vessels as well as accommodating the statutory functions of the Harbour Authority, including acting as a landing stage during emergency response situations.
The scope of work requires several option schemes to be drawn up in conjunction with the Harbour Master, input into securing the necessary licences and consents, dialogue with local stakeholders and preparation of a report and cost benefit analysis to be submitted to the executive committees managing the River Hamble.
