Marina dredging licences and consents for Davis’s Boatyard, Poole Harbour, UK

Davis’s Boatyard appointed Marina Projects to assist with the securing of the essential dredging licences for the site. The initial application by the client was in danger of being refused due to concerns which had arisen following analysis of sediment samples.

Following research of the background and historic sampling results, Marina Projects were able to demonstrate that relatively recent dredging had uncovered some historic contamination within one small area of the site. Following lengthy dialogue and negotiation with the licensing bodies, a dredging and disposal licence was secured and issued to Davis’s Boatyard.
