Marina consultancy for Porto Montenegro
On the 28th December 2007 the Government of Montenegro adopted the spatial plan for the prestigious super yacht and mixed waterfront development that will transform the former Tivat military site into a world class nautical destination. Located in a beautiful geographic setting within the sheltered Boka Katorska and with direct access to the Adriatic the development will provide up to 800 marina berths including more than 125 berths for super yachts.
Set to become one of the most attractive waterfront developments in the Mediterranean work has now commenced on the initial phases of the scheme with an initial investment programme of more than 150 million euros including the development of a five star hotel, residential and retail property and first class marina facilities.
Porto Montenegro was conceived by Canadian businessman Peter Munk and through his Company ‘Adriatic Marinas’ is committed to the delivery of a project that will truly bring both direct and indirect benefits to Montenegro.
Marina Projects is retained by the client to provide consultancy input on all marina related aspects of the development including master planning, design development, project management and operational requirements.
